As I have mentioned before, I have one very good eater and the other provides a constant battle to get anything nutritious into her. Making smoothies for the kids are one way I can be sure they’re getting a heathy dose of vitamins. This recipe is one of our favourites.
1 Cup of orange juice
1 Hand full of spinach
There’s no art to it. Just chuck it in the blender and blitz!
Spinach is full of iron and calcium and B vitamins which are essential for healthy growth and development in cells.
Bananas are a great source of fibre, potassium and Vitamin B6.
Orange juice gives added Vitamin C.
